During the month of May 2010 10% of all our sales will be donated to the Boys and Girls Club 100 Hole Challenge. On Monday June 14th I will be participating in this event and I look forward to presenting the club with this donation. You can help by spreading the word. This is also a great time to order your nativity scenes for Christmas. Please don't wait until the last minute on these sets. All orders for nativity scenes placed after November 15th are shipped unpainted.

Today is a computer day. No sawdust today but loads of mega pixels, some will make it into the computer, some will be left for another day. I will be updating the website all weekend to make it easier to find on the search engines and adding more content to the site.

Well, today we are iced in. 3/16" of ice is all over everything. With a slight melt happening it's as slick as a well greased frying pan. We both fell while trying to make it from the deck to the sidewalk. Slightly bruised and embarrassed (it's been years since I took a dive like that) we'll be OK. I'll be tweaking the website a bit today and watching some football.

The last couple days I've been been updating this site, adding features like the PayPal Buy Now buttons. It's going to take some time to add those buttons to the rest of the site, but I'm working on it. Some items like the furniture won't be getting them because shipping costs vary greatly for larger and heavier items. But that's Ok you can still send me an e-mail requesting quotes for shipping on the big pieces.
The pattern selections for bathroom and kitchen pieces were expanded. There are still more additions to come on those two pages.
Then today I did something I haven't done in a while. I added another person to my presidents collection. I created a woodburned portrait of Barack Obama. It takes a while to create one of these portraits by hand, so if you want one it's first come first shipped.

Well, as I said it will take some time, and now 9 of the 49 pages of this site have Buy Now capability through PayPal. I plan on spending more time on this project this week. Here's what it look like.
We dodged the snow storm that buried our neighbors just an hours drive to the south. We are supposed to get our share from Monday through Friday this week.
The squirrels are really enjoying the 50 pounds of corn I left for them on the picnic table.
As always, I will have the opportunity to spend time in the shop building your orders. This is the real joy of this business. We are still getting orders for nativity scenes and I have decided to expand that line to include some additions to the scene.

We now have a relationship with Southern Muscle X-treme Graff-X for vinyl signs, brochures, awnings, business cards and vehicle wraps.
May 26, 2009 We are continuing to create unique new pieces for our clients. I will be posting some of these in a new section called "Commissioned Pieces".
